Great day rafting
We woke to 57 degrees making for a very cold start. A light drizzle greeted us as we strove outside at 6:45 AM. Then down we trod in the blackness of night. Breakfast with sausage, hashbrowns and oatmeal filled us with energy for the day. Soon the bus arrived and 30 min later we were at wild water headquarters. As the day wore on the first group left at 9:30 and they tackled several rapids including bull sluice. Shortly after, a riverside lunch never tasted better. All groups returned in time for showers and a hot dinner.
