Morning Report.
Rolling out of bed the boys were the first to discover the 4 square court in the inky twilight of the morning. Vigorous exercise felt good in the 59 weather. We all felt very refreshed this morning. After a good southern breakfast with grits bacon and eggs we were ready for our first activities of the morning
One Glorious Afternoon
We sadly said goodbye to Evan Landrum who had taken ill last night and rested during high rope until his family picked him up for the drive home. We were excited to receive Mrs Amy White who drove up from Augusta, feeling much better and eager to enjoy her field group and their activities.
Hotdogs, seasoned fries and a huge salad bar fed us for lunch. Afternoon activities included a waterfall hike involving 3 miles of steep terrain while other groups went on an adventure trek to problem-solving and another group was able to work on their high ropes skills.
Afternoon free time resulted in foursquare socializing and for some, even taking a lie down
The evening activities consisted of Appalachian Night activites to include candle making, contra line dancing and crafts as they were made long ago. Then off to bed for an early breakfast before catching the bus for rafting.
